A few week’s ago I had the absolute pleasure of working with director Sybil Steele on L’Amant, a short fashion film for The LANE. I first contacted Sybil after obsessing over Enfant Sauvage… another fashion video she directed which was styled by Mandy at Oracle Fox. I fell in love with the video, and knew Sybil’s creative eye would be perfect for this project!

Our aim was to create a beautiful film that would completely encapsulate the feelings and emotions of falling in love, in an artistic way. The film was intended to support our $100,000 Dream Wedding giveaway. The concept behind the film was to inspire brides that your dream wedding should be completely personal to you.  There are no rules when it comes to planning a wedding. I wanted this film to communicate that a wedding is a celebration of your love and relationship, the details & decor choices you incorporate  should be a result of this and used to reflect your personal tastes and style. Whether your dream wedding is a lavish all white soiree, an enchanted garden party, or a simple ceremony held barefoot on a beautiful grassy hill… we want to inspire you to be creative with your choices and make sure they come from the heart.

L’Amant was filmed against the dramatic landscape and natural beauty of Byron Bay. It was one of the most amazing experiences to work with such a talented team, and I can’t wait to work on more. As it turns out Sybil is a lot like me, always dreaming of the next project. We’ve already made plans for several more!
